Announced during Apple's Sept. 12 keynote, the Apple Watch Series 3 comes in two versions: GPS or GPS + Cellular.
The Apple Watch 3 (GPS) starts at $329 (USD) and is available in three case types: Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Ceramic. Band types include Sport Loop, Sport, Leather and Stainless Steel.
The Series 3 also features a faster dual-core processor compared to the Series 1 and 2, as well as a W2 chip.
Running watchOS4, the Series 3 provides users with up to 18 hours of battery life and is water resistant up to 50 meters. Other features include Bluetooth 4.2 support, a heart rate sensor, and barometric altimeter.
As expected, Apple unveiled a slew of new products at its special media event on Tuesday, including a revamped Apple Watch with LTE connectivity for true standalone operation. AppleInsider was on the scene to go hands on with the latest hardware.
