Apple's Early 2020 Mac mini is one of the last of the Mac mini before switching from Intel to Apple Silicon. It started at $799. The Mac mini has been replaced by Apple's Late 2020 M1 Mac mini.
The Early 2020 Mac mini is Apple's entry-level desktop Mac. The computer has two options for a processor -- including a 3.6 gigahertz quad-core Intel Core i3 Processor with a 6 megabyte shared L3 cache and a 3.2 gigahertz 6-core Intel Core i7 Turbo Boost up to 4.6 gigahertz with a 12 megabyte shared L3 cache.
Both models come with 8 gigabytes of RAM, but offer options of up to 64 gigabytes. Savvy users will be able to source and upgrade the RAM on their own as well. Models feature Intel UHD Graphics 630 and can support up to three displays over Thunderbolt 3 and HDMI 2.0.
Apple Authorized Resellers are already offering discounts, and we expect to see more leading up to Black Friday.
