Introduced alongside its larger companion, Apple's 14-inch MacBook Pro finally received the M2 chipset starting in January 2023. The improved M2 Pro and M2 Max chips promise massive performance gains over the M1 models, sporting up to 15.9 times faster ProRes transcoding.
Like the larger model, the 14-inch MacBook Pro can handle SSD configurations of up to 8TB and up to 96GB of unified memory. That's enough power for the most resource-heavy users, yet it still has the same beautiful Liquid Retina XDR display with 120Hz ProMotion refresh rates.
The 14-inch M2 MacBook Pro can support up to 18 hours of battery life and handle four 4K displays with the HDMI port supporting 8K resolution. Its size, starting price point of $2,000, and excellent capabilities make this MacBook Pro arguably the best of the three options.
