The 14-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Pro and M3 Max were introduced in October 2023. The new chipsets are built on the 3nm process and represent the peak of power and efficiency in Apple Silicon thus far.
Like the larger 16-inch model, the 14-inch MacBook Pro can be maxed out with up to 8TB of SSD storage and 128GB of RAM, if the M3 Max option is chosen. A maxed out model can go toe to toe with the M2 Ultra Mac Studio.
Customers get three Thunderbolt 4 ports, a MagSafe port for charging, and an 8K HDMI port. M3 Pro models can support up to two external displays, while M3 Max models can support up to four.
Battery life isn't cut short even with all this performance, coming it at up to 18 hours.
